A B&B doesn't use hot water evenly through the week — demand spikes on a Friday changeover, a wedding weekend, or when every room is booked out for a festival. Undersized systems cope fine most nights and then let you down exactly when it matters most.
Orca heat pumps are sized to your guesthouse rather than an "average" night, and they keep working independently down to −7°C outside — or −15°C with the integrated electric heater — so a cold snap in the shoulder season is never the reason a guest gets a lukewarm shower.
Water is stored in a stainless steel boiler for cleanliness, run at an average COP of 3.6 (3.6kW of heat for every 1kW of electricity used), and every system comes with a 12-year guarantee and 2-year parts warranty. Most B&B installations pay for themselves within three years.
