Before you come

A few helpful things

Do I need to book?

Walk-ins are welcome but Saturdays in particular get busy — booking a seat ahead of time means we'll have brushes laid out and ready.

How much does it cost?

Pieces start at £8 and go up to around £35 for larger items. That price covers the piece, paints, brushes, all the time you want to spend painting, and the glazing and firing. No studio fee on top.

How long does a session take?

Most folks spend 60–90 minutes. Some little ones flash through in 30 minutes; some grown-ups settle in for three hours. There's no rush.

Can I bring food and drink?

Tea, coffee, soft drinks are on us. You're welcome to bring a wee snack. For grown-up sessions on Fridays we serve prosecco — bring ID if you look under 25.

Is the studio accessible?

Ground floor, step-free entry, accessible toilet, wide aisles between tables. Drop us a message if there's anything specific we can prepare for you.

Where do I park?

Free on-street parking on Dock Street itself, and the Abercorn Square car park is two minutes' walk away. Free after 6pm and all day Sunday.

Or just walk in.

If you're nearby, pop your head round the door. We'll find you a stool, a brush, and something to paint.
