Various cutting styles, scissor techniques including texturing and shaping, plus trendy disconnected haircuts.

Clippers & Fading

Clipper skills for different haircuts, fading techniques and razor work for fine detailing.

Shaves & Beard Care

Beard and hot towel shaves, moustache care, styling and finishing skills.

Client Care

Customer consultation methods, hair washing and scalp care — how to build and maintain clients.

Salon Practice

Health and safety practices, end-of-service procedure, rebooking and product sales.

Understanding different products for men's hair — how to use, style and sell them.

Choose Your Path

Level 2 Beginner Barbering Course

Consultation and customer service, salon health & safety, and a full grounding in men's hair. Master scissor & comb control — layering, graduation and lines — through lectures, demonstrations and mannequin work. Then move to fading and clipper control: line-outs, designs, beard trimming and different fading methods including guard skipping and descending graduation.

Duration:12 weeks, 2 sessions per week — including 2 weeks' work experience in one of our barber shops
Schedule:Every Monday & Tuesday, 10am – 2pm
Certification:Level 2 VTCT Certificate in Barbering
Fee:€2,150 without equipment kit · €2,350 with kit (worth €350)

Level 3 Barbering Course

For candidates already in the barbering industry who want to build on their existing knowledge and reach full qualification. Master the art of blending, texturising and tapering, working with cutthroat blades, finishing and styling. Learn hot towel shaves and how to complete every service your client requires with confidence.

Duration:16 weeks
Schedule:Every Monday evening, 6pm – 9pm
Certification:Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Barbering
Fee:€2,500 without equipment kit · €2,700 with kit (worth €350)
Note:Level 2 must be completed first

1-to-1 Tutorial Barbering Course

Intensive, personalised training for graduates of the Level 2 beginners course. Hands-on experience with expert barbers, focusing on advanced techniques and precision skills — perfect fades, intricate designs, refined scissor work. With direct mentorship and focused learning, you'll gain the confidence and expertise to excel in a competitive market.

Duration:8 weeks, including 2 weeks' work experience in one of our barber shops
Schedule:Can be arranged for any evening — hours may vary
Certification:Level 3 VTCT Diploma in Barbering
