Our Story
Nestled on Derriaghy Road in Lisburn, The Speckled Hen has been the heart of its community since 2010. We're not just a pub — we're your local. A place where every face becomes familiar and every visit feels like coming home.
Our kitchen takes genuine pride in honest cooking: hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas, melt-in-your-mouth steaks, the crispiest beer-battered fish in Northern Ireland, and a Sunday roast that guests describe as "the best in the North."

The food was absolutely unbelievable and the staff were amazing. Every single plate was cleared — we couldn't fault a thing. The Irish coffees were something else. We will be back!
Best roast I've had in the North and such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Came for Sunday lunch with the family and we'll be making it a regular. The sticky toffee pudding is out of this world.
A proper food pub — this is exactly what it's all about. Excellent burgers, perfect battered fish, and the chilli chicken is outstanding. Great craft beers and gin selection too. A true hidden gem.
