Our Story

Tamlaghtmore Silver Band is a community brass band rooted in the townland of Tamlaghtmore, near Cookstown, County Tyrone. For generations, our members have carried on a proud tradition of brass and silver band music, performing at parades, remembrance services, contests and community celebrations across Northern Ireland.

The band is closely associated with Tamlaghtmore Ark of Safety LOL 469 and regularly takes part in local and district parades, as well as competitive brass band contests. Whether marking the Twelfth, Black Saturday, Remembrance Sunday, or a local celebration, our musicians bring dedication, discipline and heart to every performance.

We welcome new players of all ages and abilities, and are always glad to hear from local halls, lodges, churches and community groups looking to book the band for an occasion.
