Home to Clare & Jonathan Steele

Tucked into the countryside near Crossgar in County Down, Riverhill Stud is the family home and working yard of Clare and Jonathan (Jonny) Steele — a partnership built on breeding, producing and competing sport horses at the highest levels of eventing.

Home-bred horses carrying the Riverhill name have gone on to represent the yard on the international stage, including at the World Championships for Young Event Horses at Le Lion d'Angers in France — a proving ground for the sport's next generation of eventers.

Alongside breeding and production, Riverhill Stud welcomes riders of all levels for private tuition, sharing decades of hands-on eventing experience in a genuine, working yard environment.
