A dual GAA club rooted in the heart of West Cork, fielding teams in both Gaelic football and hurling.
Randal Óg CLG was founded in 1953 in Ballinacarriga, south east of Dunmanway town in County Cork. The club claimed the Junior B Football title in its very first year, a feat repeated in 1958 and 1976, before hurling was added to the club's activities in 1966.
Today Randal Óg competes at Junior A level in both codes within the Carbery division of Cork GAA, and partners with Dohenys at underage level under the Sam Maguire's GAA banner. In 2007 the club marked its fiftieth anniversary with a commemorative history book.
