Lisnamult Community Sports Park started life as a green field and has grown, project by project, into one of Roscommon's most active community spaces. The Lisnamult Residents Association Ltd was established in 1973 to promote and develop the local area — and every step since, from the Community Centre to the playground to the Astro Turf pitch opened in 2014, has been delivered entirely by voluntary effort.
Today the park is home to the Lisnamult Sport & Activity Hub, launched in 2023, offering inclusive programmes, education and training with strong links to local schools, sports clubs and community groups.
