Our Story
Loughview started the way most good kennels do — as a handful of runs behind a family home, built because we couldn't find anywhere we'd trust with our own dogs. Years on, it's still run the same way: small enough that every dog is known by name, not a kennel number.
Tucked off the coast road between Dundalk and Carlingford, our dogs get proper daily walks, their own routine, and a quiet countryside setting instead of a concrete yard beside a main road. Whether it's a weekend away or a fortnight's holiday, your dog settles in with people who are there all day, every day.

From an overnight while you're at a wedding to the full summer holidays — book what you need.
Proper exercise every day, in their own run rather than a shared cage — space to stretch out and settle.
Your dog's usual food, at the times they're used to — just send it along with them.
Older dogs, medication schedules, particular diets — tell us what's needed and we'll follow it exactly.
We work around flight times and ferry crossings, not the other way round.
