The Story

Built on graft, honesty & an eye for a good horse

LC Sporthorses is run by Lorna Coffey, originally from Mullingar and now based at Brooklands Stables in Kilmore, Co. Armagh. After leaving office life behind to pursue horses full-time, Lorna built the business from a small handful of horses into a thriving yard — with guidance from mentor Patrick McCann and the support of her fiancé Norman and the wider yard team.

Today the yard produces and schools Irish Sport Horses and Connemara ponies, with a reputation for finding the horse that others overlook and turning it, with time and consistency, into something special.
