De Courcey ABC was founded in 2017 by head coach Will Rossall, starting out at the local GAA grounds in Ballinspittle. As membership grew, the club outgrew its original home and relocated to a dedicated gym on the Bandon bypass, behind the former Nyhan's garage.
Today the club is a fully affiliated member of the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA), welcoming boxers of all ages and abilities — from first-time beginners to competitive amateurs chasing Irish, Munster and county titles.
Whatever brings you through the door — fitness, discipline or competition — there's a place for you at De Courcey.
Structured, supervised coaching for young boxers focused on fundamentals, fitness and building confidence and respect both in and out of the ring.
Dedicated training for members chasing county, Munster and national honours, with technical coaching and ring craft from experienced coaches.
No experience needed. Join our beginner-friendly sessions to learn the basics, get fit and build strength in a supportive, no-judgement gym.
