One of Northern Ireland's oldest parading bands — still marching strong after more than a century.
Formed on 24th March 1913, Craigywarren Flute Band is one of the oldest bands still parading in Northern Ireland. Based just three miles from the village of Clough, Co. Antrim, we've grown from strength to strength for well over a hundred years.
Our membership spans generations — from young teenagers taking up the flute for the first time to past and serving members with thirty, forty, even fifty-plus years in the band. That mix of youth and experience is what keeps our sound, and our tradition, alive.
Whatever your section of interest, we provide the instrument and the tuition — all we ask is enthusiasm and commitment.
Learn to play alongside experienced flautists. No experience necessary — full tuition provided.
Keep the beat that carries the band down the road. Drums and sticks supplied for learners.
Lead the band with pride, carrying our colours at parades throughout the season.
Craigywarren Flute Band parades throughout the season and is available to support local Orange, Black and community events across Northern Ireland.
Get in touch early to secure your date — our diary fills quickly during peak parading season.
