About the Club
Buncrana Gun Club brings together shooters from across Inishowen and further afield for clay target and game shooting in the Donegal countryside. Like gun clubs the length of Ireland, it’s a members’ organisation — run by shooters, for shooters — built on safety, mentorship and a shared respect for the land and the sport.
Whether you’re an experienced Gun taking to the peninsula’s shooting grounds, or new to the sport and working toward a firearms certificate, the club is a starting point for finding your feet, your ground and your local shooting community.
What We Shoot
Trap and simulated game targets for beginners through to competition shooters, with instruction available to those new to the discipline.
Seasonal shooting across the Inishowen countryside, in line with national game seasons and good conservation practice.
Support and mentorship for members working toward — or renewing — a firearms certificate, with safety at the centre of everything the club does.
